The big ID terrorist cover

Most terrorists seem like bumbling losers if they're caught before the act: That's certainly true of the Fort Dix, N.J., jihadists who took their terrorist training DVD to the local audio store to be copied.
It was also true of the Islamists arrested in Toronto last year for plotting to behead the prime minister, one of whose cell members had a bride who wanted him to sign a pre-nuptial agreement committing him to jihad. The Heathrow plotters arrested while planning to blow up U.S.-bound airliners included a Muslim convert who had started out as the son of a British Conservative Party official with a P.G. Wodehouse double-barreled name and a sister who was a Victoria's Secret model and former wife of tennis champ Yanick Noah.
But then Mohamed Atta and the September 11, 2001, gang would have seemed pretty funny if you had run into them in that lap-dance club they went to before the big day.

The Two Sheds Review: Chuck Lidell: Hybrid Freestyle

When the good people at MMA Universe asked me to review the Chuck Lidell: Hybrid Freestyle instructional box set, I have to admit I was a little reticent. Although I am a keen follower of the MMA scene, I have no intention of ever training to become an MMA fighter. So why would I want to watch a DVD set that showed me how to become a fighter? Despite my misgivings, I decided to watch anyway, and I'm glad that I did. Never having watched an episode of The Ultimate Fighter in my life, I found this set to be very interesting viewing. The set is broken down into a series of six episodes which deal with different aspects of mixed martial arts training. The first two episodes deal with the pre-fight workout, as Lidell's personal trainer Brett Hamlin shows us how Chuck trains in a variety of ways. It's a truly extraordinary session as Hamlin puts Lidell through the mill, and after over seventy minutes of watching Lidell train, I felt completely knackered!Episodes three to six deal with various shoot fighting techniques.

UK doctors targeted for country practice

ELEANOR HALL: The shortage of doctors in rural Australia is nothing new. But now, one rural doctors' group has come up with a novel way of trying to entice foreign doctors to our shores.

In New South Wales alone, 180 GPs needed in rural areas and officials say the problem will sharpen dramatically over the next couple of years as older doctors retire.

So, how do you convince foreign doctors to make the move down under?

The New South Wales Rural Doctors Network is hoping that a reality TV style film will do the trick, as Sabra Lane reports.

SABRA LANE: It's a polished production, most of the scenery is picture postcard perfect and the stars of this short film aren't actors, they're real doctors performing their own country practice.

Oriel student framed as gay porn icon

Oriel student Harry Hoare has been headhunted as a gay icon this week, after friends posted his pro- file on gaydar.com, a gay dating site, as a joke. Since Hoare's friends registered him on Gaydar last Friday, his pro- file has received more than 1400 hits and more than 62 messages from prospective gentlemen. Hoare's Gaydar profile lists “vacuum pumping" and “armpits" amongst his fetishes but also cites an interest in investing and “strategy games".

On Sunday Hoare received a message from a gay porn agent asking him if he would consider modelling for one of the UK's top gay porn companies. The agent's letter said, “We are the UK's leading producers of gay adult DVD material and were wondering if you'd ever thought of becoming a porn model. Sorry if this sounds very direct, but we would rather not beat around the bush as they say, but come straight to the point.
